John has practised law for over 35 years and has specialised in insurance law for over 25 years, acting on behalf of both claimants and major insurance companies including Lloyd’s of London.

He has practised extensively in all fields of insurance law including life, trauma, and sickness and accident insurance, liability insurance, and commercial and household insurance.

He has appeared as counsel in the High Court of Australia and engaged in a number of actions in that court. He has appeared as counsel in all major courts and jurisdictions in South Australia with the exception of the Family Court and criminal courts, and often provides advice to other law firms in Adelaide on insurance matters.
